Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) saw an upward trend for the fourth session in a row on Monday, spurred by all sectors.
MSM 30 rose 0.52% or 30.91 points to close at 5,963.11 points. Meanwhile, Shariah index declined 0.07% to 912.42 points.
Turnover reached OMR 7.16 million after 33.92 million shares were traded through 1,962 transactions.
The banks sector topped gainers after adding 0.74%, followed by the services and industrial sectors at 0.65% and 0.07%, respectively.
Oman and Emirates Investment Holding led risers after gaining 6.60%, while Al Madina Investment Company was the worst performer after falling 3.23%.
Al Anwar Holdings was the most active company with trading volume reaching 5.5 million shares, while Bank Muscat came in first in terms of value as it made OMR 1.33 million.
